Intense rainfall has submerged multiple streets across West Melbourne and Titusville, forcing local authorities to issue a series of road closures on November 2, 2026. More than 10 inches of rain have fallen across Brevard County, creating standing water that blocks traffic and threatens vehicle safety.

The West Melbourne Police Department and city officials are actively responding to the flooding in the community. They have advised residents to avoid non-essential travel and to keep their vehicles away from flooded or moving water. If flooding poses a safety risk, officials told people to move to higher ground.

The Titusville Police Department released a specific list of inundated routes to help drivers navigate the area. The closures include S. Hopkins Avenue at Acorn Drive and Country Club Drive near the La Cita and Oakhill Drive entrance. Water has also blocked Bobbi Lane west of South Street and S. Singleton Avenue between Tropic Street and South Street.

Additional flooding affects N. Singleton Avenue at Wilderness Lane and US 1 at Marina Road in the northbound direction. The southern section of Titusville Marina on Marina Road is also impacted. Sand Point Park is closed due to the rising water levels.

Drivers should also avoid Dairy Road between Diamond Road and N. Singleton Avenue. Merry Lane is closed west of N. Mantor Street up to N. Christmas Hill Road. Finally, N. Carpenter Road is blocked at Lakeview Hills Avenue. Local agencies continue to monitor conditions as the rain subsides.
