Ukrainian forces stopped 61 Russian military assaults over the past 24 hours, according to data released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The update, recorded as of 8:00 a.m. on October 26, details specific engagements across the country's eastern and southern battle lines. The military reported a total of 177 combat clashes during the reporting period.

The Pokrovsk sector bore the heaviest load, with Ukrainian defenders repelling 36 separate Russian attacks. Russian troops launched assaults near the settlements of Serhiivka and Molodetske. They also pushed toward Nadiia, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, Krasnopodillia, and Hulove.

Fighting continued on the Huliaipole front, where Ukrainian units defeated 13 Russian attacks. These engagements occurred near Uspenske, Rizdvianka, Dolynka, Hirke, and Yehorivka. On the Kostiantynivka front, defenders repelled 12 Russian assaults near Raiske, Mykolaipillia, Dovha Balka, Kostiantynivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, and Novoselivka.

Other sectors saw less intense activity. Ukrainian forces stopped eight Russian attacks on the Lyman front near Stepove, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Stavky, Lyman, and Zarichne. Another eight attacks were repelled on the South Slobozhanshchyna front near Radkivka, Bochkove, Okhrimivka, and Zakharivka. The North Slobozhanshchyna front saw three attacks near Bachivsk, Boiaro-Lezhachi, and Oleksiivka, while one attack was repelled near Malynivka on the Kramatorsk front.

The General Staff noted that Russian forces conducted no offensive operations on the Kupiansk, Sloviansk, Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, or Prydniprovske fronts. Conditions on the Volyn and Polissia fronts remained stable, with no evidence of organized Russian offensive groups forming in those areas.
