A woman was seriously hurt when a metal holiday decoration fell from the ceiling at Millenia Mall in Orlando.

Witness video from Telemundo 31 shows the woman unconscious on the floor with blood coming from a head injury as people gathered to help. Emergency crews arrived shortly after. The Fire Department responded and transported the woman to a nearby hospital under a trauma alert. One witness said she heard a loud crash near the electric stairs, where the woman lay under the structure and was bleeding. The mall's administration told Telemundo 31 that a Christmas decoration fell inside the building and injured a visitor. It said mall security and first responders moved quickly to address the emergency. The area was closed while the incident was examined. Later, staff checked the other decorative structures installed on the ceiling as a precaution. Her name has not been released, and her medical condition is not known.
