Bayern Munich surrendered a late goal and settled for a 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday in the German Klassiker.

Kane, fresh from capturing the Ballon d'Or, went without a goal in his first outing since the award. He put a penalty off the crossbar and rattled the post on another attempt. His header did set up Bayern's second goal, leaving Dayot Upamecano a simple finish, but Fabio Silva equalized for Dortmund in the 89th minute. The result left Bayern and Dortmund tied on points at the top of the Bundesliga.

Kane struck 73 goals for club and country during the 2025-26 season. Bayern honored him on the field before kickoff, where he displayed the trophy alongside his family. "The support you've shown me since I arrived has been incredible," he told supporters. After the match he addressed his quiet day in front of goal. "It's something you have to deal with when you're at the top, deal with the emotions, deal with everything that comes with it," Kane said. "I felt like I handled it well. Of course not the best day today, but that's life, you move on." Bayern also reported injuries to Michael Olise, Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry. Coach Vincent Kompany missed the match while resting after a hospital stay following a sudden collapse last week.

AC Milan beat Inter Milan 3-1 in their city derby. Diego Moreira assisted two goals and scored one in the first half. He crossed for Christian Pulisic to head Milan ahead in the fourth minute, then delivered the corner that Adrien Rabiot converted six minutes later. Alessandro Bastoni pulled one back for Inter before Moreira scored on a free kick before halftime. Pulisic signed a five-year extension with Milan on Friday that runs through 2031. Milan climbed to fourth, four points behind joint leaders Inter and Lazio. Roma beat Udinese 5-2, and Bologna downed Monza 2-1.

Atletico Madrid moved to the top of La Liga with a 2-0 win at Levante. Alejandro Grimaldo scored in the 36th minute after a missed interception in the Levante defense, and Giuliano Simeone added the second. Atletico went one point clear of Barcelona, which held a large lead later Saturday at Alaves. Players wore black armbands in Spain following a deadly train collision, and the Spanish soccer federation postponed 24 Copa del Rey games set for Wednesday.

Manchester United lost 2-0 at Chelsea, extending its winless run across all competitions to nine matches under manager Michael Carrick. United defender Lisandro Martinez was sent off and headed for the tunnel without acknowledgment from Carrick. Yasin Ayari scored early as Brighton won 1-0 at Manchester City, handing the league leaders a second straight league defeat after seven opening wins. Arsenal could take the top spot Sunday with a result at Liverpool. Tottenham moved to eighth with a 2-0 win over 10-man Crystal Palace.

In the Bundesliga, Freiburg beat Augsburg 2-1 on Cyriaque Irie's 85th-minute goal and sits third, one point behind Bayern and Dortmund. Leipzig beat Schalke 2-0. Niclas Füllkrug scored his ninth goal in Werder Bremen's 2-0 win over Hoffenheim. Stuttgart beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-2, and Borussia Moenchengladbach drew 0-0 with Paderborn. In France, Troyes beat Le Mans 2-0 in the day's only Ligue 1 match after three other games were moved because of protests. AP Sports Writer Daniella Matar in Milan contributed to this report.
